From Atelier to Brand
A design journey built through production.

A design atelier was born.
Behçet Kepkan’s experience in production, design and interiors met a broader aesthetic vision and became the first Bassi atelier.
- 2010
The atelier became a production force.
The move from small-scale projects to industrial production united wood, metal and upholstery under one quality system.

A professional production workshop
A professional workshop brought woodworking, metalwork and upholstery together for more detailed and closely controlled production.

Entering retail with the Bassi brand
Our production expertise entered furniture retail under the Bassi brand, bringing our collections directly to customers.

Northern simplicity became a timeless Istanbul signature.
During a journey to Finland, Behçet Kepkan encountered Carlo Francesco “Charles” Bassi’s architectural legacy, uniting neoclassical elegance with Nordic simplicity.
Defined by precise proportions, clear lines and masterful detail, this approach became the spirit of the brand; the Bassi name became a symbol of creating work that lasts.
